We all are reflecting something to one another; let me explain.
One day I encounter this lady who had a nasty attitude about a situation. The ladies attitude had a significant effect on me, and I didn’t understand why.
I ponder what had happened for a few days. I asked my self the question, why did I have such a strong reaction? Suddenly I clearly understood. That lady was reflecting the judgment that was in my own heart.
The energy from the adverse judgment was able to attach to me because it was in me energetically. The lady was, in reality, mirroring to me what was already in me. The same stands true if it were to be a positive energy/emotion.
In the Christian Bible, it says iron sharpens iron, in the
Essene teachings they call it the Seven Mirrors, regardless of what each culture named it, it all means the same thing.
The next time someone affects your emotions, stop and ask yourself why? Then be willing to receive the truth; it is in that truth that freedom and change comes.
The world around us is nothing more and nothing less than a mirror of what we have become from within.
